Highlow Larder is a specialty food and home shop on Main Street in Tiburon. We carry the things we genuinely love — tinned fish, fine pantry staples, cookware, stationery, and carefully chosen gifts. The name says it: elevated taste doesn't have to mean inaccessible. We believe in the pleasure of a well-stocked pantry, a beautiful object used every day, and the joy of finding exactly the right thing.
We also run a Tinned Fish Club subscription and host classes and events in the shop. There's always something happening, and the right person will find that exciting.
What ties it all together is a belief in profound hospitality — the kind that isn't performative, but comes from genuinely wanting people to feel welcome, well taken care of, and a little more delighted when they leave than when they arrived.
We pay well because good people are worth it. No games, no minimums.

We have two open positions right now. It's a retail role — but it's more than restocking shelves. If you love food, have an eye for beautiful things, and are genuinely good with people, we'd love to hear from you.
Sales Associate
PART-TIME · TIBURON, CAYou'll be the person customers meet when they walk in. That means knowing the shop inside out, making thoughtful recommendations, and helping people find things they'll actually use and love. On quiet days, there's also the satisfaction of a beautifully merchandised floor and a well-run operation.
- Welcome and assist customers on the shop floor
- Share genuine knowledge about what we carry
- Process sales and handle the register
- Restock, tidy, and maintain displays
- Help with events and in-store classes
- Support packing and fulfillment on busy days
- Receive and check in new product
- Keep the shop looking its best
